Newbold likes to party! From the elaborate dinner dances of the 1920s to carnivals and street parties to celebrate the jubilees, Newbold can always be relied upon to put on a good show.

Newbold has had football teams, a championship dominoes team and a legendary charity fundraising tug-of war. Currently two pool teams and a darts team represent the Cross Keys in local leagues.
